About this event

PCC's second annual event to include SOLO Drivers, club racers, and race teams on Summit's Main Course. This event offers a maximum track exposure of up to eight (8) hours per day, advanced classroom sessions related to high performance driving with an option to request an Audi Club instructor/coach or bring your own individual coach with Audi Club CI approval. Don't miss out on expert instruction by special guests Pro Coaches Ken Hill of Ken Hill Coaching and Michael Levitas of  TPC Racing and DSC Sport who will provide specialized workshops, one-on-one coaching and interactive sessions throughout the event!

The structure of this event is as follows:

  • Open to Solo run group drivers (e.g. Audi Club Group 2 -Blue, Group 1 - Black, Group 0 - Red, PCA White and BMW A and above), current instructors, and those with a current race license from an approved sports car racing sanctioning organization (e.g., SCCA, NASA, PCA, BMW CCA, IMSA, etc.).
  • The open track format will maximize run and on-track coaching time while taking into consideration opportunities to access the Pro Coaches and specialized workshops.
  • Our Pro Coaches will be conducting classroom sessions covering topics related to high performance driving skill techniques, chassis setups, data analysis  as well as any other topic that attendees wish to address. All are welcome to attend. 

The Pro Coaches

Ken Hill

Ken will hold 4 classroom talks, one in the morning and one in the afternoon each day. The first day morning talk will cover:

  • “Car Placement – How do I know I am doing it right?”

The afternoon talk will cover:

  • “Vision and Focus - Using Your Eyes for Quicker and Safer Laps”

The second day morning classroom talks will cover:

  • Brake Adjustability”

The afternoon talk will cover:

  • “Motor Controls (Proper Throttle/Brake/Steering inputs)”

In addition to the classroom talks, Ken will be available each day for 30-45 min time slots working with you, 1-1 on the following:

  • What’s holding you back?

  • Reference laps in your car

  • Reviewing your video

  • Reviewing your data

Bio – Ken Hill is considered the top motorsports coaches in the United States. Ken has had motorcycles and cars in his life for over 20 years and currently owns KH Coaching based in Washington state. Ken has been the lead instructor at the Freddie Spencer Riding School, Yamaha Champions Riding School and is currently working independently, as well as being co-owner of Track Time trackday LLC in WA state. His racing accomplishments include track records, class championships and top 10 in AMA Superbike competition at age 41.

Unlike other track schools, Ken’s approach emphasizes individualized development and instruction based on students’ riding or driving goals, skill level, and learning style. It also prioritizes holistic training both on and off the track, combining theoretical instruction of key concepts and techniques with on-track drills to develop mental, physical, and technical mastery of the fundamentals. Ken’s methodology has a proven track record of results, from novice riders to national champions spanning 20+ years of professional motorcycle coaching, and HPDE clients to national winners over 12+ years of car coaching.

Ken’s passion for learning and communication has led him to coaching at the very highest level of the sport, producing national championship winning riders. In addition to racing and teaching, Ken has been a test rider for Road Racing World and Cycle World magazines, has published many articles and led press introductions for Buell, Harley-Davidson, Triumph and Pirelli Tires. Ken currently works privately with clients all over the US, on motorcycles and cars, as well as training instructors with his Moto Pilot training program. Ken has been a leader in online training working with the Blayze online coaching platform since 2019. Ken has instructed at the Harley-Davidson University as well as been a guest speaker at Yale University, Nike and Google. Ken also has a successful podcast series on Apple iTunes.

Michael Levitas

Michael will be conducting workshop talks each day at noon. The first day topic will be "Winning Suspension Solutions" and the second day topic will be "Ask Me Anything."

Esteemed driver and engineer of TPC Racing, Michael Levitas, founded DSC Sport in 2011 with a vision to advance suspension technology into the digital era. For Levitas, who has an unwavering passion for sports cars and motorsport, track performance and street comfort are not mutually exclusive. For this reason, Levitas set out to engineer a suspension that not only provided optimum track performance but would do so without sacrificing street comfort.

Michael will provide 1-1 review of car suspension set ups and an other aspect of street or race car track prep.

Although there is no charge for the Pro Coach services a request of a $200 ($450 value) donation to the Audi Club (non-profit 501(c)(3)) in support of the club's operation will be greatly appreciated.

The 2-day registration fee is $695  and 1-day is $495 (select 2 day registration to access the $200 credit for a 1-day only registation).
 

(New) Registration fee will not be charged until 21 days before the event.

General Driver School event rules & regulations related to Age & Licensing, Driver Level/Group Guidelines, Open Top and High Center of Gravity Vehicles, Helmets, and Refunds and Cancellations listed on the Driver School Event Rules page are also valid, so please review!
 

Event requirements

You must be a Solo run group driver (e.g. Audi Club Group 2 -Blue, Group 1 - Black, Group 0 - Red, PCA White and BMW A and above), current instructors, and those with a current race license from an approved sports car racing sanctioning organization (e.g., SCCA, NASA, PCA, BMW CCA, IMSA, etc.). Please ensure your driving history in MSR is up-to-date. If you have not previously participated in an event with our chapter, you may be asked to provide an experience resume.

ALL DRIVERS AND COACHES must register and pay the appropriate registration fee. Coaches who will not be driving can register for free. Coaches who will only be driving a registered driver's car for a lap or two (e.g., to perform reconnaissance, set baselines, etc.) are also allowed to register for free.

VEHICLE NOTE: You do not need to drive an Audi to participate in this event. Convertibles are only permitted IF approved safety equipment is installed. High center-of-gravity vehicles (e.g., SUVs, CUVs, etc.) are also restricted. Additional details, including pre-approved makes/models, are provided in the Driver School Event Rules. Non-street-legal open-wheeled cars are not eligible to participate.

The event does require a tech inspection form completed and stamped by a mechanic be submitted at onsite registration check-in. We will perform a tech inspection on site. Daily peer inspections are recommended to make sure your car is in safe condition. Be sure to  wear long pants, a long-sleeve shirt and closed toe shoes.

The Pre-event Information Packet will be posted 3-5 weeks prior to the event on the PCC website . Once The Pre-event Information Packet is available, download, and READ CAREFULLY as they contain important info, such as tech inspection requirements, on-site registration and tech location location, etc. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to review the packet and have the appropriate forms completed. If needed, other updates will be posted here and sent via email to registered attendees.
