Join Audi Club AZ as we drive to Tombstone and stay the night in the Historic mining town, Sept 12-13. Known as "The town too tough to die," there's plenty of rich history to envelop yourself in such as stagecoach rides, touring some of the local saloons, and even ghost tours in the evenings for those brave enough.
The drive there is mostly I-10 until we hit highway 83 South, where the scenery really spreads its wings. We'll stop at the Helvetia Lookout for some photos and to take in all the views that Southern AZ wine country has to offer. From there, we head down to the 82 which takes us East into Tombstone.

After lunch, there are plenty of sights to see and things to do in Tombstone such as the world's largest rose tree at the Rose Tree Museum, East Allen Street where you can find a slew of art and landmarks that date back to 1800's, and tour the oldest building in town - The Bird Cage Theater.
One of the main attractions of Tombstone is the Kartchner Caverns State Park; go down into the mines on a guided tour to experience the underground beauty of AZ.

The tours can fill up quickly and are capped at 20 people per tour.
For those interested, the 2:00 PM Rotunda tour would be the easiest to plan for since we'll have plenty of time to get there after lunch (30 min drive from Tombstone) and we'd still have the rest of the afternoon/evening to explore all that Tombstone has to offer. Tickets are $30/adult and there are cheaper rates for the youngsters.
