Check-in starts at 9 AM Saturday morning at Alpha Carshttps://mlsvc01-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/40b54c13201/11abe006-317a-4c6f-9839-4a1d63a70c27.png 649 Massachusetts Ave (Rt. 111) in Boxborough, MA., rain or shine. We'll have a tour of Alpha Cars around 9:30, where you will get to see some interesting vehicles you probably won't see anywhere else. Then we depart around 10:30 on a 45-mile at-your-own-pace scenic drive over central Mass roads to the Collings Foundation in Hudson, MA, where we will have a dedicated parking area for participants (look for the NAAC flag).

After arrival, and on your own schedule if you wish, you can have a bring-your-own picnic on the grounds; visit the Foundation's hanger, with its aircraft and car collections; the car barn, with its antique car collection; and the American Heritage Museum, containing a world-class armor collection and related exhibits covering WWI through the present. As an added bonus, because we are “piggybacking” off one of the few weekends they are open to the public, there will be live demonstrations of military vehicles such as tanks and jeeps. Won't your brand- new RS6 Avant look great after a hit from a 37 mm anti-tank gun!

The grounds close at 5 PM, but if you find yourself running out of time (or energy!) at the Heritage Museum – where you could easily spend an entire day – it's open year-round Wednesday through Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Aside from picnic supplies, you may want to bring a blanket or folding chairs, and be prepared for sun as there is not a lot of shade on the grounds.  There are a couple of opportunities to buy picnic-type food along the tour route.

Registration is $25.00 per person regardless of club affiliation; all proceeds go to the Foundation and any vehicle type or make is welcome. So that we may do a bulk buy of tickets ahead of time, registration closes at midnight July 7. You can show up Saturday morning and do the tours, but you will need to purchase admission tickets at the Museum as “civilians” with the risk that they are sold out for the day.

Please consider an additional donation to the Foundation so they can carry on their excellent conservancy and educational programs. It was the Collings Foundation that lost their B-17 bomber in a tragic crash at Hartford's Bradley International Airport in October of 2019; they will appreciate any support we can give them.

All COVID-19 protocols apply, including those imposed by the Foundation. Please bring masks and observe social distancing as appropriate
